Ever since Elon took the place of Jack at Twitter as the head (CEO), one of largest and biggest social media company, Twitter is working in the right direction in my opinion.

And one of the boldest decision is what Elon is currently doing now. Stripping off the verification badges of public figures who refuses to pay for it is definitely a good thing and a step in right direction.

Come on, Twitter space has really helped a lot of public figures in so many ways. Been pondering about it for years on how these social platforms make money to pay their workers.

Advertisement is one major way but clearly Elon thinks it is still not enough and I totally agree with him.

Since Twitter doesn’t charge for a tweet and mostly a lot of these public figures shares their works and businesses freely on their accounts, paying for a verification badge should not be a big deal for them.

There are numerous reasons and advantages for that if you ask me. Boycotting the use of Twitter isn’t the way at all.

Social verification is not CHEAP and should not be free either. Most of these public figures and companies pays huge amounts to tech folks to protect their works.

A little contribution to Twitter shouldn’t be a huge problem. That said, Elon and his Twitter team should also make the payment for the badges AFFORDABLE.

Social verification is same as Social security. For own safety, pay for it. These platforms have workers that equally need money.
