KNOWING THE VOICE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT (EPISODE 3)

*The manifestation of the voice of the Holy Spirit is a blessing to every child of God.*

*_God loves us (his children) so much that He wants to speak to us in every area of pursuit on earth._*

He loves to speak to you in your ministry, relationship, academics, business...

And He speaks to us directly on earth through the Holy Spirit.

The Father and the Word (JESUS CHRIST) live in heaven now but speaks to us on earth through the Holy Spirit.

As the scripture says, whatever the Holy Spirit hears from the Father,He delivers to us in His voice.

John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

In other words, the voice of the Holy Spirit is the message of our father in heaven to us on earth.

Now that you are a child of God, the Holy Spirit lives right inside your spirit man or the hidden man of your heart.

*Note The hidden man of your heart is your spirit man.
The spirit man is the one who has direct contact with your heart.
The dwelling place of your spirit man in your body is the heart.

1 Peter 3:4 But let it be the hidden man of the heart,in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.

The Holy Spirit lives in your spirit man but his manifestations emancipates from your spirit man to body realm through the heart.

That's why God commands us to guard our hearts with diligence because the presence of foreign entities in the heart affects perception towards the voice of the Holy Spirit.

Proverbs 4:23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are *the issues of life.*

The issues of life are the components of the Spirit of life(Holy Spirit) that you need for life and godliness.

One of this components is the *voice of the Holy Spirit.*

Again the Holy Spirit lives in you and speaks in you.

Matthew 10:20 For it is not ye that speak, but *the Spirit of your Father* which *speaketh in you.*

When you got born again through faith in Jesus Christ,the Holy Spirit came and dwell in your spirit,and consecrated your ear to hear his voice, activated your mind to be conscious of his voice and your heart to pump out his voice to the body realm.

He activated your hearing faculty in you for His voice.

KNOWING THE VOICE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT (EPISODE 2)

The voice of the Holy Spirit is one of the important realities in our Christian lives.

*Because the Holy Spirit directs,guides and leads us by his voice.*

In the voice of the Holy Spirit is our victory and excellence.

*We cannot move in the path of righteousness without the voice of the Holy.*

Listen,until the voice of the Holy Spirit is spoken through scriptures to us in our meditation or study,the scriptures will appear dead to us.

The voice of the Holy Spirit is not a want but a necessity.

You can't function as child of God without it.

Again,the consciousness and application of the voice of the Holy Spirit is prime methodology for us to have full alignment with the will of the Father.

The truth we must note is that,the voice of the Holy Spirit is always in line with the purpose of the word of God (scriptures) because the Holy Spirit and the Word of God agree together.

1 John 5:7-8 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
And there are three that bear witness in earth, the spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

*Note:The voice of the Holy Spirit is a manifestation of the Holy Spirit.*

And this manifestation(voice of the Holy Spirit)isn't a spiritual gift that we would say it is bestowed to some special folks or pastors.

KNOWING THE VOICE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT (EPISODE 1)

One key thing we must understand is that the Holy Spirit is neither something nor substance.

He is a person and the third person of the Godhead.

Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of _the Holy Ghost:_

*He is God as the Father and the Word (Jesus Christ)*

And He works in unity with the Father and the Word (Jesus Christ)

He was a participator with the Father and the Word (Jesus Christ or the Son) in the era of creation.

One key thing we must note is that creation of the universe has no inclusion of angels or any other creature.

Creation was done directly by the Godhead (The Father,Son and the Holy Spirit)

The scripture below underlines how the Holy Spirit played a function in creation.

Genesis 1:1-3 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. *And the Spirit of God moved* upon the face of the waters.
And *God said* , Let there be light: and there was light.

The Father was in the Word(Jesus Christ or the Son) bringing forth ideas and directives for creation,the Word or Jesus Christ functioned as the speaker-He(Word) speaks out the ideas and instructions of the Father while the movement of the Holy Spirit (Spirit of God) upon the face of the waters made the spoken word to accomplish its purpose.

In other words,the Godhead played these roles in creation, the Father acted as the *idea developer and instructor* ,the Word(Jesus Christ) as the one who expresses the ideas and instructions of the father in spoken word and the Holy Spirit (Spirit of God) *as the performer or accomplisher(* He performs the purpose of the spoken word).He makes sure the words come to pass.

Let's view some scriptures that attest that the *Holy Spirit speaks.*
