_"And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified."(Acts 20:32)_

YOUR INHERITANCE IN CHRIST

The Word of God is able to build you up against any challenge in this life, it's able to build you up in to maturity, it's able to build you up as a Man or woman for marriage, it's able to build you up for that business, and it's able to build you up for life. As you listen and study the Word is able to build in you the needed character for an excellence. It's God's dream for His children to live their best.

The scriptures says, the Word of God is able to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified. Inheritance means legacy, birthright or heritage. It refers to that which is bequeathed by a testator to a beneficiary, in the form of a title, property or estate. _"A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children..."(Proverbs 13:22)_ and this inheritance is a good one. _"The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage."(Psalms 16:6)_

This inheritance was given to Abraham and his "seed" and the seed was Christ Jesus. _"For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise."(Galatians 3:18)_ And now we are Abraham's seed according to Christ. Usually, it is passed by law to the heir on the death of the owner. According to the scriptures, God has given us an inheritance in Christ. My dear, you already have an inheritance in Christ Jesus: _"In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will"(Ephesians 1:11)_

You need to study God's Word to discover your inheritance in Christ; because they are inexhaustible, for an example; _"No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the *heritage* of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD."(Isaiah 54:17)_ Refuse to walk in ignorance even from today.

Blessed heavenly Father, I thank you for qualifying me to partake in this wonderful inheritance of the saints in light! I refuse to walk on in darkness, I'm built by the Word of God daily in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.
