Paul and Silas, severely beaten on the orders of the magistrates, were thrown into prison and had their feet securely fastened in the stocks.
About midnight they prayed and sang hymns to God while the other prisoners were listening to them. Then God intervened... A violent earthquake shook the foundations of the prison and all the prison doors flew open, and everybody's chains came loose....Paul and Silas were free (Acts 16:22-26).
If we complain about the problems that surround us, we will not see change.
Our breakthroughs come when we praise God in the midst of our circumstances. Just like Paul and Silas!
